Reed recruitment in Bristol is delighted to be recruiting for a Yard Operative to Join a rapidly growing company who are looking for a Yard Operative, They need to be friendly and helpful with an eye for detail, exceptional communication skills. Forklift license is advantageous but full training will be provided.
The idea candidate will need to be enthusiastic, Driven and wants to excel.
Job Purpose:
To ensure equipment is cleaned, prepared and stored in line with Company policies and procedures and is in the best condition for customers to hire.
PrincipalAccountabilities
- Cleaning and preparing equipment
- Checking and storing off-hired equipment
- Maintaining clean and safe yard, workshop and storage areas
Refuelling plant and keeping accurate fuel records
KeyChallenges
- Understanding the importance of maintaining plant and equipment
- Understanding the standards required and expected by the business
- Understanding the importance
of complying with company EHS standards and regulations
Working outside in all weather conditions
Skills,Know-how andExperience
- Clean driving licence
- Experience of plant hire or construction industry advantageous
- A good level of physical fitness
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willing to undertake relevant training and development
A FLT licence is advantageous
