Position: Multi-Track Claims Litigator
Location: Leeds, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement
Salary Range: £40,000 - £50,000

CRA Consulting is delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated Multi-Track Claims Litigator to become an integral part of the litigation team at large firm of Solicitors. This role, based in the vibrant city of Leeds, offers a hybrid working model, combining the best of both office and remote work. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in managing complex and high-value Claimant Personal Injury claims, directly contributing to the firm's success by providing outstanding legal advice and representation.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Directly report to the Litigation Team Leader, taking responsibility for a caseload of complex and/or high-value Claimant Personal Injury claims.
2 Act as a professional ambassador for the firm, ensuring all client matters are handled with the utmost professionalism according to internal procedures.
3 Efficiently manage clients' claims through the firm's technical processes, ensuring thorough documentation and accurate time recording.
4 Adhere to detailed procedures and quality standards as outlined in the firm's manual and client protocols, ensuring all client work is managed accordingly.
5 Conduct comprehensive investigations into incidents and claim values, undertake necessary legal research, and compile and review evidence.
6 Assess personal injury claim values and financial loss recoverability, seeking counsel advice as needed.
7 Provide precise legal advice to clients, manage their expectations, and maintain fairness throughout the claims process.
8 Negotiate settlements favorably for clients, adhering to instructions and keeping the legal expenses provider informed.
9 Prepare necessary documentation for court proceedings, compliance, and final hearing readiness.
Candidate Profile:
1 Proven experience as a Claims Handler, Legal Executive, or Solicitor, with a strong background in personal injury claims within a law firm environment.
2 Familiarity with the Pre Action Protocol, Court Procedure Rules (CPR), and Practice Directions, along with a comprehensive understanding of relevant statutes and legal updates.
3 Proficient in using Case Management Systems and handling EL/OL/PL & RTA claims.
4 Knowledgeable in JC Guidelines for general damages assessment in personal injury cases and proficient in legal research tools.
5 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
6 Demonstrated ability to meet targets, work under pressure with meticulous attention to detail, and manage time effectively.
7 Creative problem-solving skills with a capacity for innovative thinking.
8 Team player with a professional demeanor, enthusiasm, and reliability.

10 Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a hybrid model of 3 days home working and 2 days in the local office.
