Multi-Trade Builder - West London

A great opportunity to join a well established independent Lettings Agency who are currently looking for a Multi-tradeBuilder to join their in-house building team. The area of portfolio would be West London.

Job Description: You would be working on a range of properties around London, dealing with simple partitions and installations to more complex projects to a high standard in a sensitive turnaround time.

Key Skills:

Putting up partitions and stud wall using plasterboard, timber and insulation to the precise required measurements, making sure the rom sizes are accurate and as per plans.
Carpentry, kitchen, wardrobe installations, installing and maintaining doors, fire doors, fire strips and self-closers, locks and other items ensuring all are in compliance with HMO regulations.
Perform precision tiling and flooring work in kitchens, bathrooms and other areas to a high-quality.
Lead or assist with bathroom and kitchen refurbishments, making sure all plumbing work, electrical work and installation of fixtures and fittings is done accurately.
Apply skim coat to walls and ceilings, achieving a smooth and even surfaces for further work.
Paint interior and exterior with attention to details, delivering a flawless finish, hanging wallpaper where needed, panelling.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, attention to detail and high quality workmanship.
Ad-hoc building requirements necessary to ensure that properties are signed off and ready for renting or return to landlord.

Qualifications and requirements:

Proven experience as a multi-skilled builder with a strong portfolio showcasing work in partitioning, carpentry, tiling or other related fields.
Relevant trade qualifications.
Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and best practises in construction.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of projects.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
Full UK driving license and valid driver’s license with no more than 3 points

Hours:

9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday plus 2 Saturdays a month 9.00am - 3.00pm

Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
