Join our Property Services team as a Multi Trade Operative
The role
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Multi-Trade Operative in East London.
Salary:  £37,000 - £38,000 with a van, fuel card, mobile phone, power tools, uniform, lone working device and all PPE provided.
You will be working on our properties in the East London area.
The role is to carry out general Multi Trade (Plastering works) within reactive repairs.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out brickwork repairs, plasterboard / plastering works, tiling and decorations
• Completing works in accordance with the current building regulations approved documents and the regulatory reform (fire safety) order 2005
• Responsible for carrying out allocated via One Housings DRS systems
• Responsible for maintaining and replenishing van stock, and keeping your van clean, tidy and presentable at all times
• Ensuring health and safety procedures and processes are always followed

What you will need to succeed
We are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is positive and friendly.
The successful candidate will have:

• Experience within reactive repairs housing association
• A good understanding of legislation in maintenance and property management
• Good customer service skills
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
• Experience in plastering trade environment
• Housing and/or buildings knowledge
• The ability to use a PDA following training

Professional Qualifications needed:
City & Guilds or equivalent in plastering trade discipline. Qualified in more than one trade from the following: Bricklaying, Carpentry & Joinery, Damp Proof Coursing, Glazier, Painting & Decorating, Plumbing, Tiling
