Salary: Up to £218 per hour dependent on skill and experience

The Company:

Build Recruitment are working with a property maintenance group to recruit a general Multi Trade to work across a social housing contract providing general planned and reactive maintenance.

This role is offered on a 12 week temporary contract initially, with the view of a permanent position for the right candidate (salary negotiable with client, usually £30-£34,000 per annum).

During the 12 week temporary period hourly pay ranges between £17 to £20 per hour dependent on if you are using a company vehicle or your own.

A company vehicle and fuel card may be available for the right candidate during the temporary contract.

This role will suit an experienced Multi Trade skilled in carpentry and plumbing, as well as painting and decorating, small plastering work, small tiling jobs plus window and door repairs.

Ideal candidates will be based in Cornwall and will be expected to cover all of Cornwall.

Main responsibilities:

Undertaking all aspects of carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and roofing as required, assisting with making good and repairs in a variety of domestic properties.

Working in void or occupied properties.

You will be familiar with routine preventative maintenance and reactive works and be able to manage your own workload and work to deadlines.

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):

• Full driving licence
• Qualified or time served in Multi Trade skills
• Able to work on your own and as part of a team

This role may require MOD security vetting on which all offers of employment are subject to the vetting being passed and will require a basic DBS check.
