Ref 003446 Job Title: Multi-trader Location: Swanley area Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week Job Purpose: We are seeking a skilled multi-trader with expertise in Plumbing, Plastering, Joinery, and Electrical work to join our dynamic repairs division. The role involves carrying out a diverse range of responsive repairs in residential settings, particularly post water and fire damage incidents. You will collaborate closely with homeowners to achieve high-quality finishes. Key Responsibilities: Execute general maintenance tasks encompassing electrical, carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting, and decorating. Adhere to British Standards, manufacturers' requirements, legislation, and company policies. Acquire necessary materials from stores for efficient on-site work completion. Conduct duties in an environmentally friendly and efficient manner to ensure sustainability and reduced carbon emissions. Ensure all work is conducted safely, following company protocols and maintaining utmost respect for policyholders' homes. Comply with Health and Safety regulations and wear appropriate clothing, ID, uniform, and PPE. Provide exceptional customer service by being respectful, punctual, attentive, and responsive to residents' needs. Maintain cleanliness using protective coverings and leave properties in a compliant, safe, and clean state. Document work accurately after each job, detailing materials used and repairs required. Collaborate effectively with the Trinity Claims Team, Building Services, TFR teams, supervisors, managers, and customer experience teams. Manage stock levels, keep tools in good condition, and maintain cleanliness of vehicles and equipment. Attend required training sessions and adhere to health and safety guidelines. Report any safety concerns or defects to supervisors promptly. Fulfill any additional duties as needed for the Trinity Claims service development. Skills and Qualifications: Skills Required: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in maintenance and building works. Strong problem-solving skills, risk management, and decision-making capabilities. CSCS card. Valid UK driving license for site and office travel. Ability to provide accurate and presentable paperwork and database information. Experience/Knowledge: Proven experience in Social Housing/Maintenance/Construction industry. Relevant trade qualification or substantial experience in building maintenance or technical background. Personality Traits: Drive and motivation to excel.
