Multi Trader Carpenter

My client is reputable contractor specializing in maintenance and construction projects for local councils. Our commitment is to deliver high-quality service and craftsmanship to ensure the satisfaction and safety of our communities. We are currently seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Carpenter to join our dynamic team, initially on a temporary basis with the potential for permanent employment.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including installation, repair, and maintenance of wooden structures and fixtures.
• Execute multi-trade duties such as minor plumbing, tiling, plastering, and basic electrical work to support the completion of council maintenance projects.
• Assess and address repair needs, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service to council representatives and residents.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Carpenter or similar role.
• Proficiency in carpentry techniques and the use of related tools and equipment.
• Basic skills in plumbing, tiling, plastering, and electrical work.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to travel to various sites as required.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desirable:

• Relevant certifications or qualifications in carpentry or related trades.
• Previous experience working on council contracts or similar projects.
