An exciting opportunity has arisen for a n experienced Maintenance Operative to join our Clients team. This role is a blend of maintenance and installation responsibilities, set against the beautiful backdrop of the Surrey countryside.
Day to Day of the role:- Undertake small installation works and support operational maintenance across the estate.
- Conduct planned projects and reactive work on various systems to support the estates infrastructure and environmental control systems.
- Maintain all systems, including statutory inspection and testing, to meet current legislative requirements.
- Report failing plant or assets and maintain plant areas in good condition.
- Deliver an effective and timely response to maintenance demands.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Environmental systems and procedures.
- Use equipment and materials that meet current legislative standards.
- Stay updated with related legislation and developments, attending courses to maintain professional accreditation.
- Carry out multi-skilled tasks and complete all administrative work associated with departmental management systems.
- Good planning, organising, and prioritising skills.
- Ability to work at a senior level and tackle complex tasks.
- Effective communication skills at a senior level.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and Environmental systems and procedures.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with computer/tablet systems.
- Willingness to attend courses and maintain professional accreditation.
- 20 days holiday rising 1 day per year of service to a maximum of 5.
