SalaryOur client offers a high-quality complete building services across a diverse range of sectors. The services that they provide consist of Rail Maintenance, Educational Facilities Management, Healthcare Construction, Civic Building, Church Building and Facilities Management.
Due to company growth, our client is looking to bring a Multi-Trade Engineer in to join their highly experienced and qualified team. The Multi-Trade Engineer will be responsible for fabric maintenance in and around GTR train stations which could be repairs to: doors, fences, locks, gates, floors, toilets etc.
What's in it for you?
- Salary - up to £38,000 (depending on experience).
- Working hours: 07:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday (There may be a requirement for occasional weekend working/Respond to callouts as required - One in six and £125 a week standby)
- Overtime is payable at the hourly rate x1.5 17:30 - 07:30 Monday - Friday and Saturday 08:00 - 14:00 and x2 Sat 14.00 - Monday 07:30.

Multi-Trade Engineer - Position Overview
- Receive and verify materials, then hand delivery notes to the foreman.
- Perform reactive maintenance on various fabric equipment listed in the client asset register.
- Complete and submit worksheets efficiently to the head office every Friday.
- Provide recommendations on plant condition and submit Life Expired reports when necessary.
- Conduct planned maintenance according to client specifications.
- Assist the Contracts Manager in preparing cost estimates for remedial work.
- Order materials and submit paperwork to the head office each Friday.
- Attend training and Health and Safety courses as directed by the Contracts Manager.
- Report any accidents to the designated first aider, introduced during site induction.
- Complete accident report forms as instructed by the Contracts Manager.
Multi-Trade Engineer - Position Requirements
- Full UK drivers' licence.
- PTS qualified desirable.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft office.
