PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

We are seeking a talented Multimedia Designer with a passion for events to join our marketing and creative team. As a Multimedia Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualising, designing, and executing on multimedia collateral to enhance our marketing delivery, the overall attendee experience at our events and pre/post event content production. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and operations teams, clients, and technical teams to bring creative visions to life and ensure that each event leaves a lasting impression.

Videography and Editing:
  • Capture high-quality video footage before, during, and after events using professional-grade equipment.
  • Edit and produce engaging video content including event highlights, promotional videos, interviews, and testimonials that align with client and marketing objectives and brand guidelines using systems such as Final Cut Pro and Motion Array.
  • Manage the efforts of our in-house studio for clients, coordinating timelines and interviews, production and editing across our flagship events.
  • Posting edited content online promptly after an event takes place.
  • Ensure a reliable, organised library of video and design assets and guidelines are available across the brand.
  • Work closely with event planners, clients, technical teams, and external vendors to understand project requirements, provide creative input, and ensure seamless integration of video elements into event spaces.
Multimedia Design:
  • Design visually compelling graphics, layouts, and animations using industry-standard software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.) to effectively communicate event messaging and branding.
  • Develop innovative concepts and designs including digital presentations, video content, animations, signage, and interactive installations tailored to each event's theme and objectives.
  • Oversee the entire production process from concept to execution, ensuring that all multimedia content is produced to the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and brand consistency within specified timelines and budget constraints.
  • Act as a design guardian, ensuring both event level and business level brand guidelines are maintained and adhered to by the business.
  • Consider the development of our multi-media strategy for the events portfolio, looking for new tools, concepts and trends to keep us at the cutting edge of digital delivery.
  • Work closely with the senior graphic designer on new large scale design projects, supporting with printed materials where necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Experience & skills
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and video editing software tools such as:
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and Final Cut Pro.
  • Motion Array
  • MS Office, particularly PowerPoint
  • Mac-literate
  • Demonstrated proficiency in videography techniques, including camera operation, lighting, composition, and sound recording. Proficient in video editing techniques, including cutting, audio editing, and motion graphics.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of current trends, technologies, and best practices in design, videography, and video editing.

Required
  • Candidates must be able to present a portfolio showcasing a diverse range of multimedia design projects, videography work, and video editing samples is required.
  • Overseas travel to events will be required. Applicants must hold a valid passport with no travel restrictions.
