About the role

We’re looking for a videographer who can take on a huge range of design projects. Our output is incredibly varied, and we want someone who has a can-do attitude to come and get stuck in, to work with our team and to help push our marketing activities to be the best they can be. Whether you have a love of technology or an interest in finding out more, you could be right for our team.

Hours: 7.5hrs per week (1 day, 9:00am - 5:30pm)

Key duties and responsibilities are:

  • You’ll be responsible for generating exceptional audio and visual content for our hugely varied audience.
  • You’ll work with the rest of the marketing team, as well as product managers and other experts across the business to ensure your work stays on brand and at the forefront of creativity.
  • You’ll work on a mixture of filmed and animated videos which are to be used as part of a broader campaign.

Experience:

  • 4+ years’ experience of videography and content creation. You’re tried and tested at working on digital activities across multiple platforms.
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud – especially Premiere Pro, After Effects as well as Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience in working Media Composer or a similar video editing platform.

Skills and qualities:

  • Cover all bases. As well as handling the stryboarding, script writing, filming and editing of any briefed-in in-house video projects, you will recommend opportunities to put video to use in other areas the wider team may not have thought of.
  • Top-notch timelines. You’re pro-active with proxies, comfortable with colour grading and run a tight ship with your timelines.
  • Brief interpretatin. At the heart of every project is a brief. You’ll be as comfortable following a brief rigidly as you are with challenging the intentions behind it.
  • Tech shouldn’t be a trouble. It should be easy for you to pick up new technologies. We’re a technology company, and as well as being able to start using new workflow software easily, you should be invested in our products and solutions.
  • Research, research, research. Our prtfolio is vast, catering for a wide array of audiences, so you’ll be eager to get to the crux of the solution we offer to showcase it to its fullest.
  • Commercial awareness. We’re a B2B business and so everything we do has a commercial slant. You’ll make it your business to understand the commercial objective behind every communication we send and every project you work on.
  • Get stuck in. We want a team with a can-do attitude and so the ability to work under pressure.
  • Own it. You’ll need to be self-motivated in managing your own projects, arming yourself with the tools and information needed to enable you to work to deadlines.
  • A through and through team player. We want smeone to complement our existing marketing team, and who can act as a good ambassador of the work we do.
  • Social butterfly. You’re up to date with social media trends and proactive in implementing the latest outlet for everything motion graphics to help solidify our brand presence.
  • Analytical. Design and numbers aren’t always best friends, but you should have an inquisitive mind and be constantly looking for empirical evidence about how well our work is landing.
  • Excellent organisational skills. You’ll have the ability to multi-task and juggle several tasks at one time and be able to take on new ad hoc activities.
  • Flexible team member. Someone who is able to manage projects and show flexibility with working hours, so work is always completed on time to meet deadlines.
