Salary Multi Skilled Engineer Tewkesbury GBP35,000 – GBP40,000 PermanentWe are seeking a Multi–Skilled Engineer to join a well–established business in a busy production environment. While experience is preferred, we are open to considering candidates with the right attitude and enthusiasm for the role, offering training where necessary.Job Summary Continental shift working pattern.Identify and rectify faults on mailing machines and associated equipment.Assist production in achieving optimal throughput speeds and reducing remake waste.Collaborate with Production Management Teams on machine performance, problems, and improvements.Mentor machine operators to enhance their skills.Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and GDPR policies.Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Duties and Responsibilities of the Engineer: Effect repairs to mailing machines and associated equipmentMaintain, support, and service production–associated equipmentLiaise with Production Management Teams on machine performanceCommunicate effectively on machine problems and solutionsMaintain proper administration of parts usageMentor machine operators and enhance their operating skillsKeep the workshop area clean and tidy, complying with health and safety regulationsManage breaks efficiently to minimise downtimeProvide a clear handover to the oncoming shift team members Skills / Experience Required: Experience in a fast–paced manufacturing environmentStrong diagnostic skillsAbility to follow electrical diagrams.Team player with a proactive approach to process improvementsBoard–level repair ability preferred but not essential.
