Salary: Scale 6 (£29,777 - £31,364 per annum)

Our client currently have a fantastic opportunity to join their Responsive Repairs Team, within the Operations Department as a Joiner with Multi-Skills and you might be exactly who they’re looking for!

The Role

The successful applicant will undertake a wide range of duties whilst providing a responsive repair and maintenance/installation service to residential properties within Blackpool.

The repairs team is supported by dedicated Responsive and Voids Planners, Inspectors, Supervisors, Managers and Customer Service Advisors so you will be joining a high performing, supportive team with a joint focus on team work and excellent customer service.

Makita power tools are supplied by the organisation; however you must have your own hand tools. PDA and personal safety device supplied, (with the organisation suppling the necessary training on the use of these devices).

Skills &Qualifications

To join the team, you must:

• Possess an NVQ Level 2 construction trade skill certificate (or equivalent) in Joinery
• Have experience of carrying out multi-skilling work, including tiling, patch plastering and plumbing
• Have the ability to carry out skills outside of your specific trade area  
• Have excellent communication skills along with a sound knowledge of Health and Safety
• Have the ability to work as part of a team and possess accomplished organisational skills to plan and prioritise workload, working to deadlines and agreed targets
• Have experience of working with Housing Associations and managing repairs (Desirable)
• Hold a full, current driving licence (A company van is provided for travel to and from work and for use during work hours only)
