Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of Murex Front Office solutions, including trading workflows, pre-trade risk management, market data integration, and trade capture.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand trading requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Murex platform.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Front Office development team, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles.
- Oversee the configuration and customization of Murex Front Office modules, including setup of products, curves, and pricing models.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability of Murex Front Office applications.
- Work closely with other IT teams and vendors to integrate Murex Front Office with downstream systems and external data sources.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of Front Office projects, from requirements gathering and analysis to implementation and post-implementation support.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of complex issues within the Murex Front Office environment.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in Murex technology, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and optimization.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Murex Front Office Lead or similar role in a financial institution or consulting firm.
- In-depth knowledge of Murex Front Office modules, including Murex 3.1 or higher versions.
- Strong understanding of trading workflows, derivatives pricing, risk management, and market data concepts.
- Proficiency in Murex Datamart, Simulation Views, MxML Exchange, and Murex reporting tools.
- Hands-on experience with Murex configuration, customization, and scripting languages (e.g., MxML, Murex Scripting Language).
- Familiarity with Murex integration tools and APIs for interfacing with external systems and data sources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, traders, and IT teams.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and trading instruments (e.g., fixed income, equities, foreign exchange, derivatives).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management practices is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
