Academics are working with one of our client secondary schools in Basildon and they are seeking a full-time Music Teacher to join their vibrant and dedicated team. This is a school that prioritise the well-being of their teachers and are committed to providing them with a nurturing and inclusive environment to thrive.

Your new Music Teacher role will require you to:

* Teach Music in KS3 (GCSE from 2025)

* Develop engaging lesson plans and deliver high-quality teaching

* Inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential in Music

* Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback and monitor progress

* Contribute to the extra-curricular activities and initiatives of the Music department

To work as a Music Teacher through Academics, you will need:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Proven experience teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 or a passion for the subject as an ECT

* Strong subject knowledge

* Excellent classroom management skills

* The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents

* An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to get one (cost applied)
