We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Music Teaching Assistants to join our team and help us deliver exceptional music education while taking on additional leadership roles.

Job Description:

As a Assistant Music Teacher, you will be an integral member of our teaching team, playing a crucial role in the successful delivery of our curriculum-based music lessons in partner schools.

Working closely with our Lead Teachers & Team Leaders at all schools, you will train on the job alongside our teachers, gaining invaluable experience within the teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Lesson Preparation: Collaborate with the lead teacher to plan and conduct music lessons.

Safety and Well-being: Monitor student safety, manage risks, and respond to emergencies.

Instruction and Performance: Teach and demonstrate musical techniques, emphasizing safety and form.

Student Engagement: Foster active participation and provide motivation during lessons.

Record-Keeping and Communication: Maintain records and communicate with children, parents, and staff.

Inclusivity and Adaptation: Create an inclusive environment and adapt lessons to accommodate diverse student needs.

Qualifications:

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

A passion for promoting music education and appreciation among students.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Apprenticeship

Salary: £12.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
