Hays are offering a long-term Music teaching Job at a large Secondary School based in Newport with over 1000 pupils. The school offer a wide range of opportunities for its pupils and have great facilities to accommodate this. The leadership team have a strong vision for the school which creates a clear direction for the school to progress and nurture the pupils.
Your new role
You will work as a part of a successful Music department teaching classes on a full-time basis for KS3-5. You will have full teaching responsibilities including lesson planning, assessing work, and marking. There is an opportunity to be involved with organising and being a part of shows and performances with the orchestra. This role is to start as soon as possible and is confirmed long-term.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified teacher holding a valid Music PGCE with previous experience teaching Music in a Secondary school or College. You will have a passion for learning and have a strong track record of helping pupils to achieve results. You will also possess strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
You share a commitment to safeguarding and hold a DBS check or be willing to get one.
