Salary: £31,350 - £47,839 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)

Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Music teacher to inspire and educate our students. The successful candidate will have a passion for music education and be able to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across a range of musical genres and styles. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the cultural enrichment and personal development of our students while working within a supportive and collaborative faculty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Music lessons that inspire creativity and develop students' musical skills and understanding.
- Teach a variety of musical topics, including theory, composition, performance, and music technology, catering to the interests and abilities of secondary school students.
- Provide opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular music activities, such as ensembles, choirs, and performances.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their musical development.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and appreciation for music.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and implementation of the Music curriculum and school-wide musical events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) highly desirable.
- Degree in Music or a related field, with strong subject knowledge and experience in teaching Music at the secondary school level.
- Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments and/or vocal skills.
- Experience teaching a variety of musical styles and genres, as well as using music technology in the classroom.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage students in their musical learning.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and enhancing teaching practice.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
