Business Development Manager - National
Award-winning resin flooring products into national specifiers, architects, designers and contractors.

Our client is an award-winning innovator in the manufacture and supply of interior, resin flooring and design materials.  As an active member of trade associations, the company has been recognised by architects, designers, contractors and clients as a leading brand in the industry for over 15 years.
Package & Rewards
c£50K Basic (flexible dependent on experience)
+£40-50K OTE year 1
Car or allowance - flexible depending on requirements

Location
UK-wide field sales role, geographical focus between M4 and M62 corridors. City location e.g. Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Leicester, Birmingham, Oxford, or motorway access is ideal for the role.
 
Job Title
Business Development Manager - National
The Business Development Manager role will see you take responsibility for developing and growing market exposure and sales revenue for one key range within our client's portfolio.
Managing existing customer contacts and relationships, but setting and executing the strategy to win new higher value project business.
Engaging with key contacts and customers throughout the project: architects, designers, flooring contractors and end clients.
Whilst you will have full technical support, in this role you will be responsible for the whole specification sales cycle and each project phase through to closing the business.
The role will see you working alongside a highly experienced sales and technical team, you will be offered excellent support, training and professional development.
The Person Needed
 
This national role is a senior BDM position and would suit someone bringing prior experience of the resin flooring market and knowledge of all customer types engaged in projects.  Key factors are:
  • Previous experience of resin flooring products and solutions.
  • Gaining and defending specifictions - experience identifying high value specifications, engaging with architects, interior designers, specifiers and contractors.
  • Broader commercial experience, confidence in setting a sales strategy for 2024 and beyond.
  • A confidnt and positive team player who can also demonstrate dynamic autonomy.
