We are seeking a driven and experienced Cardiac Sales Specialist to join our expanding UK team. In this exciting new role, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales of our comprehensive Cardiac Product portfolio with key stakeholders such as Cardiac Surgeons, Cardiologists and Nurse Clinical Specialists. This is a national role so you will be covering England and Wales (Not Scotland) and have full autonomy of your diary to travel accordingly across the 32 cardiac centres across the UK.
Your new role
- Introduce and generate demand for our Cardiac product range, with a focus on surgeons, cardiologists, and nurse specialists within your designated hospital accounts.
- Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the public and private healthcare sectors.
- Create targeted business plans to identify key decision-makers and maximise sales opportunities within assigned territories.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and budgets for the Cardiac product portfolio.
- Actively participate in cardiac theatres to promote product adoption and drive sales growth.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and clinical specialists to gain a deep understanding of the UK market landscape.
- Deliver training programs to healthcare professionals to support product familiarisation and utilisation.
- Identify and actively participate in relevant industry symposiums and events.
- Maintain meticulous records of all customer interactions and activities within the CRM system.
- Contribute to post-market surveillance data collection initiatives.
- Regularly present clinical and sales updates at internal meetings.
- Stay abreast of the latest clinical advancements and their impact on commercial strategy.
- Monitor trends within the NHS and adapt sales strategies to capitalise on new opportunities and mitigate potential challenges.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in medical device sales, ideally within the cardiac space.
- Strong experience selling in cardiac theatres
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and existing relationships within cardiac centres
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills to effectively showcase products and secure sales agreements.
- Strategic planning abilities and a keen business acumen.
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A self-motivated and results-oriented approach.
- In-depth understanding of the cardiac surgery market and CABG procedures (desirable).
