National Key Account Manager
Salary: £40,000 plus performance related bonus

Our client, part of global multinational, is a leading food waste recycling company committed to collection and conversion services. Their expertise lies in recycling edible oils and food fats for a diverse range of end user industry sectors including biofuels and energy generation.
THE ROLE:
As the Raw Material Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing key supplier accounts. You will evaluate the current supplier list, review and communicate with existing suppliers, explore and drive potential growth opportunities within these accounts, engage and strengthen relationships with all suppliers and also drive growth through new account opportunities with the procurement of raw material, which we process and blend into feedstock for biofuel, Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SVO).
Fundamental to our growth and our customer-focused approach, you will be expected to increase volume by expanding the supplier base and increasing our market share through new business initiatives and securing contracts. This role requires development of current supplier accounts, communicating daily with them and the business, helping to maintain and build important long-lasting relationships.
You will work closely with internal departments to ensure the raw materials are brought in in-line with legal requirements, ISCC or Red Cert compliance and all teams are briefed using our onboarding process.
THE CANDIDATE:
Proven experience in Key Account management
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as CRM software
The ability to build rapport and trust with Key Accounts
The ability to handle multiple supplier accounts
Strong negotiation and leadership skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
You must be able to negotiate at a high level to win business and achieve your purchasing goals in-line with KPI's. These negotiations will be held with business owners, directors and key decision makers.
You must have the ability to negotiate long term contracts and establish long-lasting relationships.
You will be responsible for providing supplier reports and data analysis to review collections and identify potential gaps to meet KPIs.
You will be expected to drive, develop and maintain an active pipeline of new business in-line with business strategy and a level of organic growth within current Key Accounts.
