This role could not only be an immediate promotion but could be the move that secures you the sales director role that you have been craving.
You'll be managing a team of two national account managers focusing on the acquisition and growth of national and group accounts in the foodservice sector.
Despite the challenges in the channel, our client has grown above inflation by nearly 40%. They have achieved this by focusing on the customers and delivering a great service.
Day-to-day you will be managing tenders, building relationships with the customer base and creating solutions. You'll work closely with the sales director to be his heir whilst taking on some of the more complex customers and tender processes to allow him to look at acquisitions, projects and long-term strategies.
This could give you exposure to a few things that you wouldn't ordinarily see at this level.
