Authorising Engineer – Energy from Waste Sector
Salary: £70,000 - £86,000 plus benefits (Inc Bonus)
Location: Homebased with travel to various EfW Facilities Nationwide
Exciting opportunity for an Authorising Engineer to join a prominent player in the Energy from Waste (EfW) industry. This role is central to ensuring the safety, health, and welfare of all personnel by administering, training, authorising, and auditing the organisation's safety rules concerning electrical and mechanical systems management within EfW facilities. The successful applicant will offer invaluable advice on safety matters to senior management and play a vital role in promoting safety culture across the company's EfW sites.
Skills required for the Authorising Engineer:
- Demonstrable experience in an Authorising Engineer role, ideally within the EfW or related industries.
- Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with emphasis on safety standards and compliance.
- Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities, capable of effectively training and mentoring team members.
- Proficiency in managing IMS documentation and ensuring adherence to safety rules policies and procedures.
- Expertise in performing audits, risk assessments, and reviewing safety policies.
