Natural Resources Downstream Broker

The Role

WTW's Natural Resources Downstream team is looking for a Broker to join them at this exciting period of growth.

Key Duties:

• Understand the clients' business and risk transfer needs and offer solutions to fulfil those needs through the provision of ongoing service
• Understand, apply and where necessary explain the BU policies and procedures
• Establish and maintain active relationships with our clients, retail offices and (Re)Insurers
• Provide technical, industry and subject matter expertise
• Draw on expertise within the team and across the Group for clients
• Liaise with clients and build strong relationships
• Determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients' needs and wishes and deliver profitable business for a range of clients

The Requirements

• Proven Natural Resources Insurance experience, within Broking or Underwriting.
• Strong relationships in the Natural Resources Downstream market locally and overseas
• Proven track record of developing relationships, strategies, and program design
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence within a matrix environment
• Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional client service and building of client relationships
• Proactive and diligent approach to all tasks
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong skills in problem solving, planning, and budgeting
• High levels of business and financial acumen with an understanding of company strategy and change management
• Preferably with professional qualifications, e.g. ACII or similar country equivalent, or relevant industry experience
