NatWest Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship - London

LTSB are in its 6th year of partnership with NatWest Group and are looking for young people who are passionate about Banking & Finance to join a range of apprenticeship opportunities in permanent roles with the bank in 2024.

Elevate Programme

We are offering places on our three-week interactive programme where you will receive employability training, interaction with NatWest Group staff and Q&A sessions, gain insight into the culture at NatWest Group and other employers, interview prep work and advice from previous LTSB students on their apprenticeships.

Programme start date: Monday 29th July

Successful completion of our programme guarantees you an interview with NatWest Group for a permanent role.

Starting Salary: £27,540

LTSB will continue to support successful candidates until roles commence in the October 2024, and then for the first year of your career.

On the apprenticeship you’ll study to gain a qualification while putting new skills to use in work, earning a competitive salary, and being supported professionally through the programme.

Job Description (the role you'll be doing): Business Admin Apprentice

  • Deliver against performance goals, as agreed with the line manager.
  • Complete the requirements of the apprenticeship programme as detailed in an individual learning plan within the set timelines, which may include to pass exams, submit workbooks and provide competency evidence.
  • Complete relevant professional qualification or technical training required for the job or included in the apprenticeship programme.
  • Proactively promote and be an advocate for the apprenticeship proposition.
  • Compile and analyse customer insights, market & competitor intelligence data to inform discussion and decision making at management and key stakeholder levels.
  • Review and challenge the customer experience and all product processes identifying opportunities to improve service delivery to customers.
  • Support the successful implementation of products and campaigns to achieve product category priorities.
  • Provide product and customer data as required to support incident management, TCF and mandatory change projects.
  • Provide daily operational support to the product management team in the management and development of the specified products.
  • Support the team in the development of new products to meet customer needs and respond to competitive threats.
  • Support the team in working with coverage, origination and digital channels to ensure delivery against agreed profit and loss and balance sheet targets for the defined set of products.
  • Provide input into ensuring regulatory compliance for the defined set of products.

Eligibility

We are looking for young people aged 16– 24 who are passionate about building a career in business administration. You don’t need previous experience, but you do need to show evidence of a genuine interest in the sector.

We work in areas where talent struggles to find opportunity, and so we are specifically looking for young people who were eligible for free school meals, or from areas of low educational attainment, or have faced personal disadvantage. To be eligible you must meet the following criteria:

  • 16-24 years old
  • Did not attend a fee-paying school
  • Received free school meals and/or require additional support to access careers

We are looking for young people with a passion for learning and helping customers have the best experience. There is no minimum academic criteria although Maths and English GCSE in England and National 5 qualifications or Foundation Apprenticeships in Scotland would be an advantage
