We are recruiting a Navigation Test Support Driver for one of our automotive clients based in Cranfield. You will be working for a globally recognised automotive company. This is a long-term contract role. The contract is on an ongoing basis a may run for several years.
Key Responsibilities of the Navigation Test Support Driver:
• Conduct dynamic evaluations of various vehicles with engineer/technician support to en-sure clients Navigation products meet the customers needs.
• Liaise with Test engineers/technicians to conduct tests to client Standards & local operating procedures.
• Working to a project schedule to complete test activities in a timely manner.
• Instrumentation set-up (Video Recording Equipment)
• Support Testing in dynamic conditions to gather accurate, timely, and quality test da-ta/results.
• Support delivery of Key Performance Indicators for the section
• Use skills to provide support to other sections as required
Qualifications & Experience for the Navigation Test Support Driver:
• Experience within vehicle or component test environments is preferred but not essential
• Experience with Trailer Towing is preferred but not essential
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Basic Computer literacy (word processing)
• Full UK Manual/Auto Driving Licence
Hours & Pay for the Navigation Test Support Driver:
• Monday to Friday
• 39 hours per week
• GBP17.26p/h
