Title: Neighbourhood First Cleaner/Driver

Grade: C

Salary: up to £25,537 Dependent on experience.

Hours: 37 Hours per week which will involve weekend and evening work.

Contract: Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy, friendly, and professional Neighbourhood First team at Lewes and Eastbourne Council’s.

Hours will include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

This work will be mainly based in Eastbourne but will also at times include Lewes District, but a vehicle will be provided.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to ensure that our public toilets across Lewes and Eastbourne are clean and functional. This includes replacing supplies, locking, and unlocking, reporting damage, undertaking minor repairs and deep cleaning. The successful candidate will also be expected to be aware of all activities on site and report any suspicious activities to management.

A proportion of your working day will be lone working.

You may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as reasonably required.

You must have a full clean driving licence.

Ideally you will have previous experience in cleaning public realm areas, but this is not essential.
