We are currently recruiting for a Neighbourhood Team Leader to work for a Housing Association in the Liverpool area on a temporary basis.

PURPOSE OF THE POST:
The Neighbourhood Team Leader will lead one of the three teams of Neighbourhood Officers, Tenancy Compliance Officers and Trainee Tenancy Officers. You will lead the team, driving them to be highly effective performers. You will ensure a balance of workload across property portfolios.
You will ensure that your team manages tenancies, discharges company policies, delivers a high service to tenants, and maintains demand within our neighbourhoods.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To be responsible for the day to day management of a team of Neighbourhood Officers, Compliance Officers and Trainee Tenancy Officer
To be responsible for the performance of a team, highlighting and dealing with issues of poor performance
To undertake regular Talking Performance with each member of the team
To set, monitor, manage and report on team targets and individual targets for performance and effectiveness, identifying key business risks if they arise
To set, monitor, manage and report on targets for efficiencies
To create a team culture of performance, reward and encouragement
To provide support and guidance to your team in housing management, policy, procedures, the legal framework and business data
To proactively provide support, training and resources to enable your team to perform effectively
To provide periodic reports from the QL Housing Management system on key performance indicators
To take lead roles in liaising and working with other sections from the company to improve the performance of your team's caseloads, customer service and property portfolio
To co-ordinate resources for a demand led service in high performing neighbourhoods.
To have knowledge and understanding of the company's business policies and work to them at all times e.g. Health and Safety & Data Protection
To liaise with the Support Network to ensure the sustainment of tenancies
To have a flexible approach to work roles including location, working hours and evening and weekend work.
