Job Role:.NET Developer
Location: Bury St Edmunds (2-3 days a week on-site)
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 DOE

A new and exciting position has recently become live with a leading software company.

They are searching for an experienced React Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful applicant will have at least 3 years of commercial experience and the ability to code functional WinForms applications and modernise existing interfaces.

This role offers a hybrid working structure, after an initial training period, allowing you to work from home 2-3 days a week.

Please note, this company does not offer sponsorship so you will need full right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and build Windows desktop applications using C# and WinForms.
• Collaborate with databases, particularly SQL Server, to seamlessly integrate data into the applications.
• Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging of applications to uphold a high-quality user experience.
• Enhance the performance and maintainability of existing codebases through refactoring and regular maintenance efforts.
• Remain current with the latest .NET technologies and adhere to best practices in development.

Essential Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in crafting C# WinForms applications.
• Proficient grasp of object-oriented programming principles and SOLID design principles.
• Demonstrated expertise in working with SQL Server and crafting efficient T-SQL queries.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
• An eagerness to learn and evolve within a team of dedicated developers.
• Practical experience with C# ASP.NET / .NET Core Web API.

Desirables:

• Proficiency in .NET Web API development.
• Understanding of WPF or alternative desktop application frameworks.
• Familiarity with Azure and expertise in cloud-based development and security.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps pipelines and Git Source Control.
