Meraki Talent's boutique financial services client is actively looking for a Network Analyst to join their growing team and business. A technology focused FinTech, this individual will be the primary point of contact for all things to do with networking within the business. Our client is looking for an experienced Network professional either at the beginning of their career with say a year or two dedicated network experience, or alternatively a more seasoned Network professional, who is looking for more breadth in role, perhaps someone leaving a larger firm to get more of a voice and autonomy.
Responsibilities of the Network Analyst:
- Ensure end user connectivity between office and related data centres
- Support the on prem network stack (switches, routers, access points etc)
- Support client requirements for voice/video from related vendors
- Create and manage next-gen firewall rule sets from vendors (Including Palo Alto, Meraki & Juniper)
- Support VPNs with hardware, policy-based routing & cloud-based solutions, multi-site, multi-platform connectivity
- Liaise with clients directly on all network related queries
- Participate in on-call rotation
Background of the Network Analyst:
- Experience working as a networking professional is essential for this role, either at the developmental or more experienced level
- Knowledge of Juniper firewalls and switches handy
- Knowledge of virtualisation and network integration with VMware handy
- Knowledge of Palo Alto handy but not essential
- Experience of Meraki wireless appliances handy
- Experience using ticket managing systems very handy
- Happy to work on call rotation (business hours) and able to occasionally undertake after hours or weekend work
