IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR SECURITY CLEARANCE WHICH MEANS YOU NEED TO HAVE LIVED IN THE UK FOR A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS WITH FULL RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK.
Our client is on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer where you will play a key part in the configuration and maintenance of the organisations network infrastructure. You will work as part of a team and acting as the first point of contact for any technical issues where you will be expected to troubleshoot as well as making constant upgrades and enhancements to the network infrastructure.
In order to be considered for this role, the following skills and experience will be highly beneficial:
- Previous experience working as a Network Engineer which the relevant qualifications such as CCNA, CCNP or or anything equivalent.
- Experience in troubleshooting, implementing changes, upgrades and enhancements
- Experience with a range of network technologies such as Cisco, HPE, Fortinet Firewalls, VPNs, IPS, Web Filtering and Network Access Control
- Strong knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, HSRP, VRRP, VLANs, IPSEC and how these can be used across Perimeter, Data Centre and Campus networks.
- Excellent analytical, communication skills and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
