Network Engineer Cisco - Belgium

My client is looking for a Network Engineer, you are responsible for developing network and security solutions for the customer's A to Z. You guide the customer through migration processes and new implementations.
Your challenges
You will join our project services department where you will be involved from the first phase of a project. You communicate clearly with all parties involved, both internally and with the customer.
You are responsible for your project and ensure timely delivery. To do this, you will see the necessary solutions to problems and involve the right people in the process.
You identify which innovations offer real added value in the performance of our customers' IT environment. You build insights from experience that you translate into scalable concepts. In this way, the total added value that my client offers to its customers can be 'upgraded'.
You are an expert in your domains and provide additional support from fellow engineers for those domains in which your own expertise is lacking. You manage the planning, budgets and other resources for the projects you are active on, and where you have played a role in determining the scope. You always weigh up the constraints of budget, performance, scope and timing in consultation with project managers and/or other stakeholders.
Your talent
You plan with a view to minimizing the impact on customers and anticipate potential challenges from multiple solution options.
Must haves:

• 5 to 10 years of experience in networking and security
• Routing and switching, next-generation firewall, wireless and experience with DNS zone management.
• Troubleshooting issues related to 802.1x.
• Knowledge of server management (Microsoft / Linux)
• Analysis skills of network problems with SYSLOG, PCAP files and windows logs
• Hypervisor
• Stress-resistant & flexible
• Strong communication skills
• Driver's license B

Knowledge about the following domains is also an added value:

• Fortinet
• Load Balancers & WAN optimizers
• Web & spamfilters / SSO / SSL
• Security (risk evaluation, auditing, authentication, VPN...)
• Prince2 or other project methodology
• Other relevant certificates are an additional asset
