Leading Managed Services Provider in the Private and Public Sector requires an experienced Network Engineer in Ireland. As an Network Engineer, you will be responsible for providing network and systems support to our customers. You will also have the opportunity to work on projects and services with a broad range of customers on network infrastructure and performance monitoring.
Working Pattern (Mon-Fri, Shifts, on-call): Mon-Fri (40 hour working week)
Duration: 6 months + possible extension
Hybrid Working - 1-2 days onsite
Mandatory Skills (Candidate must have all):
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent
- Installation, management and troubleshooting of Cisco switches, routers and firewalls
- Experiencing in patching and upgrading Cisco switches, routers and firewalls.
- Setup, management and troubleshooting of VLAN,HSRP,OSPF,BGP.
- Knowledge of Cisco Layer 3 switches and network technology
Highly Desirable Skills:
Aruba Clearpass System Administration
Knowledge or experience firewall administration - Checkpoint / Fortinet
Citrix Netscaler load balancers
Knowledge or experience in Cloud networking
Responsibilities include:
Experience in an IT systems administration role, providing maintenance and technical support to IT infrastructure
Design and commissioning of network components
Proactive monitoring of managed network service components
Maintenance and administration of the managed Network environments
Assisting in providing network and remote connectivity hardware/software support.
