Salary: £57,720 - £61,379
Additional Payments: Casual Car User Allowance

Qualification - Must either hold HNC / HND in Engineering and have significant experience in Highways / Construction OR have a degree in a relevant Civil Engineering subject and have significant experience in Highways / Construction.
Casual Car Documentation - The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis but are not essential to the role.
If you do drive, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work, as well as provide all the appropriate documentation.
You will receive an allowance per mile of business use.
The Network Management Lead will be part of the management team within the Network Management area of the Highways Service and will report directly to the Head of Network Management.
The role will provide effective leadership, over multiple functions within the Network Management area.
These functions include, Traffic and Road Safety, Statutory Approvals, Asset Management, Neighbourhood Relationship Management, Parking and moving Traffic Offences.
Due to this being a senior post within Highways Services, these functions may change from time to time in line with service needs.
About the Candidate
MCC are looking for an experienced Network Management officer to lead and manage a number of teams within the Highway service.
The role holder will provide leadership and development of strategic responses with specialist advice and insight, to support the delivery of Organisational priorities, ensuring that the Council is able to meet its legal obligations.
To be successful, you must hold either hold an HNC / HND in Engineering and have significant experience in Highways / Construction OR have a degree in a relevant Civil Engineering subject and have significant experience in Highways / Construction.
Significant experience of operating and delivering in a Highway or Construction environment and strong relationship management and stakeholder experience with the ability to positively influence.
