In this key position, you will work with the Network Manager to ensure that an efficient and effective service and support is provided to students and staff who use the school’s extensive IT systems.
We are looking to appoint an efficient, enthusiastic and well-organised person with a passion for problem solving. This is a varied role with no two days being the same, and provides many exciting opportunities for the successful candidate.
The ideal candidate will hold a qualification in IT, computer science or have recent industry certifications such as MCSE, CCNA and CompTIA+.
Ideally, you will also have experience of management of Microsoft networks and active directory as well as experience in management of switches, wireless APs, firewalls and the Microsoft 365 platform.
The school has a good record in supporting the professional development of staff; we will support the right candidate in working towards IT certification.
We are lucky to work in modern well-equipped accommodation, with superb facilities, situated on a beautiful site on the edge of the Peak District National Park. We are within easy commuting distance of Manchester, Sheffield, Chesterfield and East Cheshire.
