Based at the Tidal Weir Office, you will monitor and operate the Tidal Weir gates, record tidal and other operational data and will undertake general maintenance duties. You must be able to accurately record data, be comfortable working alone or as part of a team, have experience in following operational procedures and processes and have an awareness of Health & Safety and safe systems of work practices. Previous experience in dealing with members of the public is desirable. * A 3 shift rota that supports the 24/7 operation of the Tidal Weir is in operation.
These posts are temporary for a period up to 2 years.
Your weekly hours of work will be 37 hours per week plus 5 hours contractual overtime.
