Network Planner

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport / Network Planner to join long standing family run logistics company in Swindon.

Are you an experienced Planner with strong geographical knowledge of Swindon and surrounding areas as well as nationwide? - If the answer is yes, then this might be just the role for you!

I have a unique opportunity for someone to join a growing, logistic company as they implement a new centralised planning hub for their fleet of delivery vehicles of 3.5t Vans to 40t+ HGVs. As a Transport Planner your primary objective will be to ensure compliant, efficient, and profitable transport operations for their team.

This role is planning routes for a fleet of vehicles, effectively allocating loads to vehicles while ensuring operational goals are met. You will also be responsible for planning daily orders to meet customer requirements. You will collaborate closely with the operational team to maintain top-notch service quality and coordinate with other departments making sure customer satisfaction is met

What type of person are we looking for?

• An experienced Planner who has held a high-level planning position and can improvise to execute plans.
• While experience in the transport industry is ideal, it’s not required as training will be provided.
• Geographical knowledge of Swindon, surrounding areas and UK.

Benefits:

• Salary range of £28,000 - £30,000, depending on experience.
• 40-hour work week, between the hours of 8am – 7:30pm.
