One of Microsoft’s inner circle partners who provide Professional and Managed Services to Enterprise and mid-market organisations are currently growing their Network Security team. They are a well-known and accredited infrastructure, cloud and security specialist with a taste for innovation.
The organisation is in a period of growth, utilising best-in-class technology and solutions to deliver second-to-none services to customers requiring Network security support. This role has become available because of pure-growth of the Network Security team thanks to the success they’ve had over the past year.
If you have a good understanding of the Network Security landscape, strong experience designing, implementing and maintaining network infrastructure, this could be a great opportunity for you.
The Role:
The position work closely with other members of the Network Security team, the response team and customer Security stakeholders to deliver high-quality protection, guidance and improvement suggestions.
You will be pivotal to the improvement of the customers Network security through network maintenance, network segmentation and access control and proactive security testing / vulnerability management.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain security measures across the Network infrastructure
- Reviewing network configurations and device hardening
- Development and maintenance of vulnerability management programs (Pen-testing, risk assessment, remediation planning)
Key Experience:
- Extensive experience in Network Security Engineering (Cisco, Arista, Fortinet)
- Experience with access control, VLANS and network segmentation techniques
- Experience with pen-testing frameworks, security assessments and scanning tools
- Ability to configure detection/prevention systems and firewalls
