Title and Summary
Network Support Engineer Job Overview: Supports and assists with the support,build and security of a large multi-site, multi-vendor MPLS network communication environments.
Role :
  • Live incident resolution in hours and out of hours when on call
  • Manage and implement on boarding customer network projects under BAU.
  • Resolves network communications and operations problems impacting customer or backbone access and performance globally.
  • Participates in telecommunications-related initiatives.
  • Supports assigned regional projects, which include responsibility for planning; time and cost control; resource utilization and implementation.
  • Supports Vendor management.
  • On call Support Engineer 1 week from 6

All About You :
experience in the following areas:
  • Networking, including LAN/WAN
- Firewalls - Cisco ASA & FPR/Palo alto
- F5 - APM/LTM
  • Security and encryption technologies

  • Experience with TCP/IP protocol communications.
  • Broad of Cisco’s product portfolio.
  • Broad of Palo Alto's product portfolio.
  • Broad of product portfolio.
  • Broad knowledge of Project Management methodology and best practices.
  • Knowledge of Network diagnostics, BGP, SNMP, VPN, SSH, MPLS technologies.

Skills/ Abilities:
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated listening skills.
  • Serves as a mentor to lower level employees and lead others and use good judgment.
  • Limited supervision; work may be reviewed for direction and strategy.
  • CCNA certified
  • Palo alto exposure
  • Cisco Nexus exposure
  • F5 certified 101-201 - LTM/APM & Irule , if not exposure

Work Conditions:
  • Supports a 7 by 24 Global Network.
  • Occasional travel to alternate site."
  • Remote working and office working
  • Occasional weekend working
