Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office 2 days working from home

My client is looking for a Freight Forwarder to join their team! If you have previous experience as a Freight Forwarder, and are looking to join a reputable company, then LOOK NO FURTHER!

Duties include:

• Plan all activity for collections and deliveries across Europe based on customer requirements
• Plan collections and deliveries (European) based on customer requirements
• Communicate with other planners and offices to maximise use of vehicle positioning
• Liaise with Subcontractors on journey times/logistics
• Maximise earning’s negotiating rates with customers and Sub-contractors
• Minimise empty running
• Maximise gross profit on all work carried out
• Quote new business opportunities presented by Commercial teams 9. Discover new business opportunities
• Manage invoice queries with international accounts admin to ensure data accuracy
• Maintain customer database and price/fuel matrices
• Maintain customer KPI’s where applicable
• Record non compliance within jobs for both haulier and customers
• Customer visits with commercial if required.

The successful candidate will have / be:

• At least two years experience in a Freight Forwarding position within the Logistics industry
• Experience working for an organisation that Transports temperature controlled freight is preferable
• Strong attention to detail
• Extensive logistical knowledge
