A lucrative IT based client of mine is seeking a dynamic and energetic New business account manager to join their team on a remote basis with all additional travel fully expensed. This is an incredibly exciting time as the company are undergoing a huge transformation phase following on from their recent acquisition by a private equity firm.
You will be take full accountability for acquiring new logos, establishing a healthy pipeline of well qualified business opportunities and building strong, strategic level relationships with these clients, maintaining a consistent understanding of their business.
Responsibilities:
- Performing in accordance with sales targets - monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Be your own lead generation.
- Identifying, qualifying, developing, and maximising all opportunities for sales growth.
- Balancing sales input relevant to the performance output, including prospecting and creating need.
- Applying solution sales methodologies and approaches to identify and meet all customer needs.
- Securing a richer revenue mix, through higher margin cloud and services solution sales, including longer term managed service annuity revenues.
- Own, manage and controlling the preparation for bids, and formal RFI/P submissions that are effectively coordinating bid support and enablement resources.
- Complying with their sales governance framework including forecast accuracy, sales planning and qualification.
- Meeting and exceeding performance KPI metrics, including performance, pipeline and conversion measures.
- Ensure that all actions from customer communication and meetings are distributed to the relevant areas and are followed up within a timely and efficient manner.
- Differentiate customers through best practices and structured approaches to customer account management.
- Able to present and articulate key customer facing content.
Requirements:
- At least three years of consistent, proven overachievement of relevant sales performance targets.
- Corporate sales experience, with direct customer engagement.
- Experience within areas such as cloud and infrastructure, IT asset management, cyber security, data and analytics etc.
- Can make and sustain a business case through effective benefits management.
- Practical understanding of solution sales methodologies, as well as the approaches, taking a solution approach to to New business and new logo acquisition.
- Strong ability in both performance and referencing clients.
- Has a network to build a new base and can manage new and existing stakeholders.
- Customer focused, with an ability to fully understand enterprise level organisations.
