Job description


We are recruiting for a Newborn Hearing Screening Coordinator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. The post holder will co-ordinate the National Newborn Hearing Screening Programme.
The service will be delivered to all babies who live in East and North Hertfordshire. Coordinating and monitoring he service provision to the surrounding community.
The Post holder takes professional and clinical responsibility for leading the Newborn Hearing Screening Team.

To oversee the implementation process, evaluating at appropriate intervals, feeding progress to Clinicians, Public Health England and other Health Professionals.
To lead the implementation group and the development of the programme.
To work in partnership with other agencies in the development of an effective screening programme.
To monitor changes or problems, evaluate and adjust accordingly.
Ensure the delivery of the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme (NHSP) within timeframes in hospital and community settings.
To undertake the day to day running of the programme, promotion the principles of Family Friendly Hearing Services for children.
