REED Accountancy Practice NI are currently recruiting a Newly Qualified / 1 Yrs. Post Qualified Accountant with a recognised professional certificate to join our client’s team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of post-qualification experience working in an accountancy practice. This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the accounts function of the firm, ensuring compliance deadlines are met
• Prepare and finalise audit and accounts to a high standard
• Help ensure the firm complies with all relevant audit and accounting legislative requirements
• Report to and work closely with Managers and Partners
• Assist with the supervision and training of junior staff
• Update records and procedures as required
• Carry out one-off assignments as and when required
• Maintain personal knowledge and skills to enhance the practice’s value.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Recognised professional accountancy qualification
• Newly qualified or 1-year post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Competence in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
