Connaught Resourcing are a health and social care agency with a specialism within NHS 111 and 999 services.
We are currently working with an established ambulance service based in the Yorkshire and Humber region who are looking for experienced RGN's with primary care experience, or Paramedics, to join their NHS 111 service as a Clinical Advisor.
This is a fantastic and rare opportunity to receive full NHS Pathways training and be integrated into a very well-run NHS 111 service with flexibility to work on an ongoing temporary or permanent basis.
In this role you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and provide a high level of clinical care to patients across the Yorkshire and Humber region, using telephone communication systems. You will undertake a period of training to become highly skilled in the field of remote clinical triage and assessment, supported by computer-based decision-making tools.
In order to qualify for this role, you will need:
- To be a qualified RGN or Paramedic
- Have an active NMC or HCPC pin
- Have significant experience in primary care settings such as A&E, community, GP, prison, or urgent care
- Triage and assessment experience
The role:
- Based in Rotherham or Wakefield
- In depth training - 11 weeks of full time Pathways training
- Role is initially temporary with the opportunity to move to a permanent role after 13 weeks. If Clinicians would rather stay temporary for flexibility, then this is an option
- Flexible working, can pick hours (must do 15 hours per month)
