Position: Meter Reader
Location: Castlewellan/Downpatrick/Newcastle
The Role:
As a Meter Reader, you will be the friendly face of NIE Networks, responsible for interacting with our valued customers and ensuring the accurate recording of energy usage data. You’ll be at the forefront of our operations, making a real difference in both customer service and operational efficiency.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive Pay: Kickstart your journey with a competitive starting wage of £10.42 per hour during the training period, rising to an impressive £13.02 upon completing your training.
- Performance Incentive: Fuel your motivation by earning up to an additional £300 per month through our performance incentive scheme.
- Car Allowance: Enjoy the freedom of a generous car allowance amounting to £5045 per annum (applicable after 12 weeks).
- Holiday Pay: Recharge and relax with a generous holiday package of 28 days, increasing to 31 days after just 12 weeks of employment.
- Flexible Working Hours: Maintain your work-life balance with flexible scheduling between Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) and Saturdays (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM).
- Efficient Work Week: We respect your time and dedication. You’ll be allocated 30 hours for meter reading tasks but will be rewarded for 37 hours of commitment.
