You'll have previous experience in a similar setting and excellent knowledge in healthcare and managing people, caring for both men and women in an acute setting.Working an average of 40.25 hours per week, you will support in leading the nursing team at night, managing referrals, ensuring procedures are being followed and a safe environment is maintained. You will have the autonomy to make leadership decisions with the support of the Senior Manager on-call. As a Night Coordinator you will be committed to delivering excellent standards of care whilst acting as a positive role model, coach and mentor to your team.
You will be working with people in an inpatient setting who may be treated under the Mental Health Act, providing treatment for men and women who may have suffered trauma and are affected by mental disorders. Working with the multi-disciplinary team, you will provide your peers on-going guidance and training to ensure they have the necessary support system and skillset.

What you will be doing
You will lead a night team that works well together to provide care to men and women in an acute setting supporting them to lead a valued and fulfilled life.
As a Night Coordinator you are a pivotal member of the operational management team and will be supporting the Nurses, Senior Nurses and clinical teams across the wards during the night shifts. You will lead, manage and coordinate clinical duties to ensure quality and safety is maintained.
Acting as the first point of contact when situations need to be escalated on site, you will be supported by an on-call manager and senior director who will be available remotely.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn't do last week because of you.

Things that you will have:
- RMN or RNLD qualifications
- The desire to improve, challenge and innovate
- Management and leadership experience
- Experience in managing complex operational issues and working through immediate resolution.
- Experience in problem solving and ensuring that systems and processes are adequately implemented.
