Night Housekeeping Supervisor

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, guest focused and passionate Night Housekeeping Supervisor to join our night-time Accommodation Services team.

Your working pattern will be 37.5 hours per week, across 5 nights from 9.45pm to 6am.

The on target earning potential for this role is £33,243 / annual salary - comprising a base salary of £28,743, plus a qualified estimate of £4,500 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

• You’ll assist and supervise your own mighty team of Night Housekeeping Attendants
• Attending and participating in daily and monthly meetings for preparation, you’ll have a key role in the set up and service of the Hotel, maintaining and continually improving the standards and quality of our service and exceeding guest expectations
• Ensuring operating costs are managed effectively, you’ll have responsibility for stock take completion and stock ordering in the most organised and efficient ways
• Always warm and thoughtful, you and your team will make sure all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly, effectively and professionally
• You’ll check all areas before, during and at the end of each shift, ensuring our sky high standards are maintained; you’ll also carry out daily maintenance and cleanliness checks across all areas of both guest and colleague facing areas
• Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

The kind of person we're looking for:

• You have strong previous experience within a similar role, ideally within the Hospitality industry
• Well organised, punctual and willing to work a flexible schedule, you’re approachable, helpful and self-motivated
• You have a strong grasp of English language, both written and spoken, as you'll be working front of house, completing a variety of documentation, recording events on a regular basis and interacting with our guests
• Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
• You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
• A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
• You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way

• About gratuities service charge:

• Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to our room rates and services across the estate that is passed directly to our employees) are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role
