Night Laundry Assistant

THE ROLE

PGL are currentlyrecruiting a Night Laundry Assistant to maintain the high level of customerservice we provide for our guests.
As a NightLaundry Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that laundry is completedefficiently, in a safe and clean working environment, whilst also supportingthe Housekeeping Department when required.

Keyresponsibilities include:

•  Ensuring that the washing of laundry is completed on a continuous cycle;
  
• Correctly using and storing chemicals, following Health & Safety and Manual Handling training provided;
  
• Carrying out stock takes of linen and informing line managers immediately of any shortages;
  
• Providing a high level of customer service, by maintaining both high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, alongside a professional manner;

IS THIS YOU?

The idealcandidate will be able to prioritise tasks effectively and follow pre-setprocedures when required, ensuring linen is washed on time and to the requiredstandard. You should display a positive and approachable attitude, be able tosupport your team and use appropriate verbal and non-verbal language.

This is anovernight role where we can be flexible on timings, with shifts startingbetween 8pm and 11am through to 4am to 6am.

Previous laundryor housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential.
