A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Night Nurse to help with her first baby who is due 13th March.
As this is her first baby, the client would like someone knowledgeable and confident in all things newborn and able to gently guide her. She has a small sausage dog who is kept in a crate overnight. But you must be comfortable around small dogs.
The client is open to the idea of having the nanny in for two days pre birth to offer advise and help set up her home.
The baby will sleep in the mothers room so you will have the monitor and go into the room when the baby wakes.
Maternity nurse experience and an up to date DBS and first aid certificate are essential.
Duties
- Hygiene routines and bath time
- Breastfeeding support and advice
- Bottle feeding
- Sterilising equipment
- Charge of the monitor overnight
- Wind baby and settle to sleep
Salary: £300 - £350 per night
Days: Four nights a week – Flexible on Days but one day should be Friday, Saturday or sunday
Hours: 19:00 – 7:00
Pets: small dog
Accommodation: own bedroom
