Requirements for the Night Nurse Manager role:

You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN /RNLD)

Previous supervisory experience in a Nursing Home or similar setting

Active NMC PIN

Clear DBS.

The role of a Night Nurse Managerwithin the Nursing Home involves:

Providing management and leadership to the Nursing and Care team

Ensuring patient safety, by making sound decisions and knowledge

Undertaking clinical supervisions with staff

Reviewing and updating resident care plans

Contributing to pre-admission assessments

Safely administering and recording of medication

Liaising effectively with external suppliers and health care providers

Use a person-centred approach to ensure every individuals needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity, and respect
